ga-mcp-full is open-source software distributed under the MIT License. These terms supplement (and do not replace) the MIT License, which is the authoritative legal agreement governing your use of the software. In the event of any conflict, the MIT License controls.
By installing or using ga-mcp-full you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
ga-mcp-full is a Model Context Protocol server that runs locally on your machine and exposes Google Analytics 4 Admin API and Data API operations as tools usable by AI coding assistants. It is not a hosted service. The project maintainers do not operate a server that receives your data or credentials. See the Privacy Policy for details on local data handling.
analytics.edit scope allows administrative changes to your GA4 properties (creating/updating custom dimensions, audiences, key events, data streams, and similar resources), you are responsible for reviewing any tool call suggested by an AI assistant before approving it.~/.config/ga-mcp/credentials.json) secure on your machine.
Do not use ga-mcp-full to:
Abuse of the bundled OAuth client may result in Google revoking the client, which would interrupt access for all users. High-volume users are encouraged to configure their own OAuth client via the environment-variable override documented in the project README.
ga-mcp-full is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. The full disclaimer is stated in the MIT License.
Administrative actions against your GA4 properties are irreversible in some cases (for example, archiving a custom dimension permanently retires the name). You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving such actions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors and copyright holders of ga-mcp-full shall not be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software. This includes, without limitation, data loss, misconfiguration of Google Analytics properties, API quota exhaustion, or interruption of service.
You may stop using the software at any time. To revoke the software's access to your Google account, follow the instructions in the Privacy Policy under “Credential revocation”.
Changes are made by commit to the project repository and reflected here. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent substantive change. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
